Our Farm’s Products
The Farm is the only major supplier of high quality cassava and sweet potato propagation material for small-scale farmers in Zambia. The Farm is seed-certified by the Zambian government for the production of high-quality seed and plant material. The Farm also produces a number of essential oils—tea tree, lemongrass, and sweet marjoram, along with other products.
Here is a short list of the products currently produced on Arulussa Farm:

The farm also has the capability to contract grow various crops, contact us for information on this.

Bamboo Production Expansion
The farm is currently expanding into the production of solid core bamboo for use in charcoal production. The farm is working to mass produce bamboo seedlings for sale to farmers who can then grow the crop as a cash crop by producing charcoal. The major source of cooking and heating in Zambia and much of Africa.
This will reduce the need for deforestation and possibly bring down the cost of charcoal, which can currently account for more than 20% of Zambia’s annual income.
